2019 Lights, Camera, Save! Video Contest Winner

Lights, Camera, Save! is a video contest created by the American Bankers Association that encourages teens to educate themselves and their peers about the value of saving and using money wisely. For the second year, First State Bank hosted a statewide preliminary round of the national contest.
We are pleased to announce that University City High School sophomore, Folake Adewale, is the winner of our 2019 Lights, Camera, Save! video contest. Her video “Folake’s Top 5 Ways to Save” gave an informative demonstration of money management. Folake impressed the judges who were looking for a creative video that would inspire other young people to save money.
To officially announce her win, First State Bank representatives, Lisa Dunham and Haley Clemons-Landre, presented Folake with a $500 check and a certificate at the University City Board of Education meeting on February 27, 2020. Congratulations, Folake on your win!
